(Show cancelled) Limp Bizkit-Still sucks tour

While checking emails during my break at my graveyard shift job , I notice an email saying you’ve been approved to photograph Limp Bizkit this coming Saturday on the second date of their tour.I couldn’t believe my eyes at first as I remember puting in to cover the iconic band but thought being a smaller scale publication I’d never make the cut, but there it was in black and white in front of me and all I could say to my self was holy shit.

So here we are in 2022 and it’s been 10 years since we’ve heard anything out of the LB camp and they release Still Sucks. This 12 song studio album was a little different than what Bizkit fans were used to but I must say it worked. Though a lot of fans were taken back by front man Fred Dursts new look, the debut song Dad Vibes that debut on September 30, 2021, quickly became a hit.

Throughout the years Limp Bizkit has had many hits such as Rollin , Break stuff , Nookie ,the Who’s Behind blue eyes which was featured in the movie Gothika and Faith a cover of George Michaels song.

The live venue inside the casino was built in conjunction with the hotel and was completed in 2020 with a seating capacity of 6500 people. The old hard rock was essentially 2 venues before it was torn down to build the guitar shaped hotel that comes to life at 9pm with a musical light show.

After a 6 hour drive I finally arrived at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino – Hollywood, FL parked the car grabbed my camera gear and headed to the VIP entrance to grab my credentials to cover the show. After filling out a waiver and being told the do and don’ts that are typical for a show it was time to do some work and enjoy Limp Bizkit in all their glory.Or so I thought , about an hour after gates were supposed to open for entry the security team announced that the show had been cancelled. The staff of the Hard Rock Live was very professional in the way they handled the situation. About an hour later the band posted a status that the promoter cancelled the show due to safety concerns. Hopefully the band will reschedule a later date to make up for the approximately 4,800 fans that had been in line for hours.
